Brotherhood, Leeds- review.

Full name The Brotherhood of Pursuits and Pastimes, Brotherhood is a (relatively) new sports bar in Leeds City centre. It is a couple of doors along from the Grand Theatre, where Gatecrasher used to be.

The inside is nicely finished with multiple screens showing the days live sport. A particular quirk I liked, although didn’t realise until after watching the match I wanted to see, was the gallery seating on the first floor overlooking the screens above the bar.

We were there to watch the 6 nations England vs Scotland match (which England fortunately won). Whilst we were there we decided to have our dinner. The food menu is not the most varied consisting mainly of different pies. We opted for the sharing platter. The pies and pastries were more gourmet than standard and were actually really tasty, I’m not convinced on how healthy they were though.

Upstairs there are pool tables and the interior is decorated tastefully with retro sporting equipment. There were also decent tunes pumping when the sport was quiet.

This themed bar is a great place to watch sport and you can check out their website HERE or follow their twitter @BrotherhoodLds to see which upcoming matches are about to air and book a prime location table. Otherwise you can just do what we did and turn up, chance your luck and watch a match in good company with a lively atmosphere.
