Nostell Priory.

Nostell Priory is a grand house located near Wakefield n West Yorkshire that is a National Trust property. It was built in the 1730s on the site of an old priory from medieval times.img_2468-1

The inside is filled with fancy furniture and ornate décor. Much of the furnishing is from the Chippendale workshop in Otley.img_2443-1img_2432-1img_2447-1

There are extensive grounds to explore outside the house. One option is a walk to the menagerie gardens. There is foliage of all sorts as you stroll past the lakes.img_2477-1img_2501-1

It is a really pleasant way to spend a few hours in both the house itself and the grounds.
